The Institute was established in the year 1942. One of the best Industrial Training Institute running in Uttarakhand. This is the nodel ITI of district Almora. Institute is situated in beautiful range of the kumaon Himalaya in Almora District of Uttarakhand.
At present the intake capacity of institute is TOTAL 508 seats. In 9 trades (two year duration) and 3 trades (one year duration) in Engineering trades and 03 (One year duration) non Engineering trades At present total 15 Engineering and non Engineering trades are running in this institute. Institute is situated about 5 K.M. from Almora Bus station.
Institute has very rich wide –spread landscape area with plenty of trees and beautiful range of middle Himalayas. With spiritual enviounment due to holy places like “CHITTAI GOLU DEVTA TEMPLE” (about 1 km distance from our campus ) and famous “KASAR DEVI TEMPLE” (about 5 km from campus) Campus providing a nice atmosphere for training. Our Institute has virtual class room and workshops, sports ground, parking facilty etc.
